Luther F. Weaver, 76, a retired farmer who had been working as a maintenance man at Lake Holiday died at 11:05 p.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He had been seriouly ill 2 weeks. He was born April 13, 1897, at Tangier, a son of Charles and Della Farner Weaver. He was educated in St. Joseph Ill schools. He married Flora Nickle on June 16, 1919. Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Mary) Chesterson of Waveland; 3 brothers, Dennis Tucson, AZ; and Wayne and Robert of St. Joseph, Ill; three sisters, Mrs Lois Knott and Mrs. Mabel Sadler of St. oseph and Mrs. Madge Beuhling of Shelbyville; three grandsons and two great grandsons. Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday in Machledt-Servies Funeral Home with Rev. PJ Hamilton officiating. Burial in Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Tuesday. - kbz
